PG Diploma in Health Sciences Librarianship

Eligibility:

Master Of Audiology & Speech Language Pathology (MASLP)
Eligibility: BASLP/B.Sc (Sp & Hg)/ B.Sc (HLS) degree or equivalent (including internship) from any recognized University in India with minimum pass percentage required as per University or RCI norms.
Age : Candidate must have completed the age of 17 years on or before 31st December the corresponding year.

PG Diploma in Health Sciences Librarianship
Eligibility: A candidate who has passed Master's Degree examination in Library and Information Sciences (M.L.I.Sc.) of any Indian University established by law in India or any other post graduate degree course in library and information sciences recognized as equivalent for this purpose and who has scored not less than 55% of the maximum marks prescribed in the qualifying examination shall be eligible for admission to the Post Graduate Diploma in Health Sciences Librarianship. Minimum marks in the qualifying examination does not apply for those who are health science librarians having M.L.I.Sc. or its equivalent qualifications and a minimum of 5 years of working experience in a health science library approved by MCI/DCI/PCI/CCH/CCISM, etc are also eligible. Minimum marks in qualifying examination does apply to them.

B.Sc. (Ophthalmic Techniques) - OT, B.Sc. (Medical Radiography & Imaging Technology) - MRIT, B.Sc (Radiotherapy), B.Sc (Dialysis Techniques) - DT, Bachelor of Audiology and Speech Language Pathology, B.Sc. (Orthopedic Assistant and Plaster Techniques)- OAPT, B.Sc. (Operation Theatre Assistant)
Candidate must have passed 10+2 with Physics, Chemistry, Biology and English individually and must have obtained 45% (40% for SC/BC) marks taken together in PCB (Physics, Chemistry and Biology) in 10+2 examination

Selection Criteria:

B.Sc. (Ophthalmic Techniques) - OT, B.Sc. (Medical Radiography & Imaging Technology) - MRIT, B.Sc (Radiotherapy), B.Sc (Dialysis Techniques) - DT, Bachelor of Audiology and Speech Language Pathology, B.Sc. (Orthopedic Assistant and Plaster Techniques) - OAPT, B.Sc. (Operation Theatre Assistant)
Admission shall be made as per the merit of Physics, Chemistry and Biology marks taken together in 10+2 examination. In case of two or more candidates having equal marks in PCB in 10+2 examination, their inter-se merit will be determined as Under:-
i) Candidate having higher marks in Biology
ii) Candidate older in age.

Application on the prescribed Admission Application Form available on website, complete in all respects must reach in the University Office, Faridkot, alongwith the prescribed fee and attested testimonials on or before the closing date i.e. 16/09/2011 upto 5:00 PM failing which the candidate will not be considered for counseling under any circumstance
